Q1. Each link I go to opens another Window. Can I change this?

Yes.

For Microsoft Internet explorer see points 1 and 2 below

For Firefox see point 3

  1. If you are using Internet Explorer 6 as your browser you will need to upgrade to IE 7. Click here to upgrade. www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx . When you have completed the upgrade make these a minor changes to the default settings. See point 2

  2. You can change the default settings to have the new links open in a separate TAB in Internet Explorer 7. This is the preferred browsing method today.

    On the menu tool bar go to - Tools > Internet Options . Under the General Tab which you will default to, you will see a section called Tabs. Click the Settings button. (see below)

    Change the setting to match the ones below.

  3. You can change the default settings to have the new links open in a separate TAB in Firefox version 3. This is the preferred browsing method today.

    On the menu tool bar go to - Tools > Options . Under the Tabs menu change your settings to match the picture below.

Q2. Are my customized personal settings available from any computer?

Yes.

Your personalized settings are accessible from any computer. If you are accessing whateyedo.com from a computer other than your 'normal computer', such as from an internet cafe, you will need to login again for your settings will appear.

Q3. Can I have different personal settings on the same computer?
Yes. You can have multiple customized settings on the same computer. An example of this might be at home where you have 2 different users, John and Mary. John can login in to receive his own setting and likewise for Mary. whateyedo.com will default to the last logged in users setting on that computer. Top
Q4. What browsers does whateyedo.com support?

Whateyedo supports Internet Explorer 6 and 7, Firefox versions 2 and 3, Safari version 3 and Opera version 9.

Each browser and browser version has its own way of displaying information and handling functions, and as such some features work differently in different browsers. Whateyedo attempts to ensure that the site is usable in all the listed browsers. Please note that browser version updates or setting changes in your browser may affect the way whateyedo performs. Should you encounter a problem please do not hesitate to inform us and we will do our best to make any alterations that may assist you.

Q5. My personal settings do not appear when I open whayeyedo.com.
To get the best out of whateyedo it is recommended that you have cookies enabled in your internet browser. This will store your personal setting on your computer and next time you access whateyedo.com, your settings will appear automatically without the need to login. Top

We commit to you that we will not sell, distribute, trade, rent or publish any personally identifiable information provide by you when using the website. Please read our privacy policy which can be accessed from the whateyedo.com by clicking the privacy policy link at the bottom of the page. Top
Q7. Do I need cookies enabled to save my customized settings?
We recommend that you have cookies enabled in your browser. This will store your settings on your own computer and you won’t be required to login to retrieve them. If you do not have cookies enabled, you can still use the whateyedo.com homepage, however you will only be able to use the default tiles. You must enable cookies to be able to login with your own account username and password and access your customized tiles. Top
